Nearly 100 cm high, white-colored idol of Bhagawan Jagvallabh Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.

It is on a hill in the forest near the Hathkalangad railway station.

Historicity

It is difficult to get a historical record of this tirth. But it is an ancient tirth. The Svetambaras of Maharashtra regard it as an ancient tirth. They regard it as the Setrunjaya of South Maharashtra. This temple was renovated many times. Its last renovation was accomplished on the seventh day of the bright half of the month of Magh in the year 1926 of the Vikram era. A fair is held here on the 15th day of the bright half of the month of Kartak, on the 15th day of the bright half of the month Chaitra and on the 10th of day the dark half of the month of Magasar. Engrossed in devotion to God, the worshippers propitiate God in the fair.

The nearest railway station is Hathkalangad on Kolhapur - Miraj railway line. It is at a distance of 8 kilometers from the temple. This temple is at a distance of 31 kilometers from Kolhapur. There are steps for climbing the hill. Bus service and private vehicles are available. They go to the foot of the hill. Boarding and lodging provisions are there at the foot of the hill.
