Historicity

Under the inspiration of Acharya Kailassagarsuri Maharaj Saheb, the new idol was formally installed in the new temple on the sixth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakh in the year 2028 of the Vikram era. This temple is 161 ft. long, 97 ft. broad and 107 ft. high. This gives an idea of the grandeur of the temple. On seeing ‘Shri Simandhar Swami Moksha Praveshadvar’ at the gateway, the pilgrims dance with joy.

Other Temples

There are fifteen other temples in the city. The largest temple is of Manamohan Parshvanath Bagawan.

Nowhere in India, there is such a splendid large temple of Bhagawan Simandhar Swami and such a large idol. It seems as if the waving flag of the beautiful temple on the highway, tells the glorious story of Bhagawan Simandhar

Guidelines

The nearest railway station of Mehsana is at a distance of two kilometers. From this temple on the Ahmedabad-Delhi highway, bus service and vehicles are easily available. In the compound of the temple there are boarding and lodging provisions. An upashraya is also there.
