Historicity

In scriptures, there are many names of this place. It belongs to a period earlier than the times of King Samprati. Earlier than the year 300 of the Vikram era, Acharya Mandevsuriji Stayed here for his monsoon sojourn and composed the ‘Laghushanti’ stotra. The inscriptions here state that in the year 1181, 1215, 1237 and 1668 of the Vikram era, many temples, were installed here by many Acharyas. There is an ancient cellar in the temple of Bhagawan Neminath. It goes as far as Nadlai. Nandol is believed to be the place of origin the Bhadari and the Kothari gotras. Since 1750 the lamp is kept burning continuously.

Works of art and Sculpture

Here one sees many ancient and artistic idols. In this temple, the sun - idol and the unbroken small idol of Chaumukhji carved out of stone is ancient, beautiful and very artistic. Near the village, there are many old remains and a stepped well. If more research work is carried on, there is a possibility of knowing. ancient history and getting artistic remains.
