Historicity
As the story goes, this tirth is the source of many miracles. Even today various miracles are seen. e.g. The water used in bathing the idol, gave eye-sight to Rameshvarji. The shortage of food served in the caste-dinner, was supplied by divine power. During the famine of the year 1956 of the Vikram era, the Pujari always secretly got a silver coin from the temple. This ancient holy tirth has won the faith of many devotees on account of many miracles such as these. A fair is held every year on the eighth day and the ninth day of the bright half of the month of Fagan. There is a document which shows that this idol was installed under the auspices of Udaysagarji in the year 688 of the Vikram era.

A temple of Bhagawan Shantinath and a Dadawadi are nearby. In the Dadawadi, there are beautiful idols of Ratnaprabh Surishvarji and Jinakushal Surishvarji.
