Historicity

The inscription of 1172 of the Vikram era Shows that Bhagawan Mahavir Swami was the Mulnayak here. At the time of renovation in the year 2014, the ancient idol of Bhagawan Shantinath was installed here. All the idols in this temple seem to belong to the thirteenth century. Once this was a prosperous city. There were as many as hundred stepped wells. Even today, the stepped well named Jetal is very large and beautiful. If archaeologists are asked to dig here, a lot of historical material can be found here. A flag is hoisted here every year on the third day of the bright half of the month of Fagan.

Works of art and Sculpture

On the gate of the original sanctuary, there are really sighty idols of Vidyadevis, Yaksha and Kuber. All the fifty - two idols in this temple are ancient and very artistic. It is difficult to find such idols. The idols of Gajalaxmi and of Saraswatidevi are artistic and attractive.
