Shri Shitalnath Bhagwan
Bhagwan Shitalnath, meaning "Lord of Coolness," was born in Bhaddilpur to King Dridharatha and Queen Sunanda of the Ikshvaku dynasty. His birth brought a wave of serenity and auspiciousness, and his symbol is the Kalpavriksha (Wishing Tree), representing peace, prosperity, and spiritual fulfillment.
He renounced worldly life after witnessing the fleeting nature of material pleasures and attained Kevalgyan under the Pilurikha tree. His teachings emphasized inner calm, non-violence, and detachment, guiding seekers toward liberation through self-discipline and serenity.
Bhagwan Shitalnath attained moksha at Sammed Shikharji, becoming a Siddha—free from all karmic bonds and the cycle of birth and death.
