Ajitnath Bhagwan
Bhagwan Ajitnath, meaning “Invincible Lord,” was born in Ayodhya to King Jitashatru and Queen Vijaya of the Ikshvaku dynasty. Renowned for his wisdom and compassion from childhood, he ruled with justice before renouncing worldly life to pursue spiritual liberation. Through deep meditation and asceticism, he attained Kevalgyan (omniscience) under the Saptaparna tree, becoming a Tirthankara who re-established the Jain Sangha.
His teachings emphasized ahimsa, truth, and the three jewels—right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct. He attained moksha at Sammed Shikharji, and his symbol is the elephant, representing strength and dignity.
