Shri Naminath Bhagwan
Born in Mithila to King Vijaya and Queen Vipra of the Ikshvaku dynasty, Naminath’s birth was heralded by 14 auspicious dreams and a miraculous moment: hostile kings surrendered peacefully when Queen Vipra glanced at them while pregnant.
In a previous life, he was King Siddharth of Kshambi, who renounced worldly pleasures and attained spiritual elevation, later reborn as a deity in the Aparajit dimension before descending into Queen Vipra's womb.
He ruled wisely, then renounced his kingdom and attained Keval Gnan under a Bakul tree near Mithila. His teachings emphasized Right Perception, Right Knowledge, and Right Conduct, guiding souls toward liberation. His symbol (laanchhan) is the Blue Water Lily, and he attained moksha at Sammed Shikharji, nearly 571,750 years before Neminath.
